We’re Erik and Tashi - two lifelong travellers who have spent years exploring the world, from established backpacking routes to places far beyond the usual tourist trail.Between us, we’ve travelled to over 80 different countries, lived on the road, made plenty of travel mistakes and learned what actually makes people stop, watch and want to go somewhere.We created Roaming Restless because we’re genuinely obsessed with travel - finding places worth discovering, figuring out how to experience them properly, and capturing the moments that make you want to book a flight.That experience now shapes the content we create for travel brands. I’ve spent over a decade travelling independently, chasing exotic experiences beyond the usual tourist trail. After travelling to 72 countries and counting, I’m passionate about sharing the huge amount of practical knowledge and honest insights that help people get the best experience possible.
TASHI
Having grown up spending time in developing countries, travel shaped the way I see the world from an early age. For the past three years, I’ve called a van home between overseas adventures, embracing a slower, more flexible way of exploring. I’m drawn to the people, cultures and unexpected experiences that make travel about more than just the places you visit.
